My husband and I had our wedding reception at LaFortuna in Fairview, New Jersey. It was one of the best decisions we could’ve made. I’ve known LaFortuna and the Kursar family for years and have been to many functions there including weddings, showers, and birthday parties. There’s no other place quite like it. The food is always outstanding, and the flower and table arrangements are always beautiful. Because of the spaciousness of the upstairs rooms, you don’t feel crowded and there’s always room to dance. Because LaFortuna is family owned and operated, the service feels much warmer and more personal than other establishments we’ve been to. I have seen first-hand the dedication and love that the Kursar family has for LaFortuna. They take great pride in their restaurant and that shines through in every event they host. I have attended many events at LaFortuna, including engagement parties, bridal showers, weddings, and birthday parties. The food is always delicious and the catering hall is always decorated gorgeously. Donna Kursar, one of the owners, always pays attention to every detail, as if each party were for her own family. That’s the feeling you get at LaFortuna, like you’re part of the family. Imagine my surprise when I walked into LaFortuna expecting to be attending a birthday party, and it was my bridal shower! My bridal party could not have chosen a better location! Everything was simply perfect.The floral arrangements at each table were stunning. There was enough food to feed a small country and every bit of it was delicious. I am still getting rave reviews from guests who were there. An event hosted by LaFortuna will always leave guests satisfied.
